Unit 1 I went there last year.
教学目标
1. 学习语句： We went there last year.
Did you go with your mother? Yes, I did. No,I did’t.
2. 识记单词：photo, stay, week；认读单词：remember, uncle
3. 能口头运用句型：Did you go with your mother?询问自己的判断是否正确，并能口头运用：Yes,I did./No, I didn’t.回答。
教学难点: 询问自己的判断是否准确并作答。
教学准备: 磁带，录音机 图片
教学过程:
Step1:Wamer
1 Say a chant.
North, north, north points up.
South, south, south points down.
East,east, east points right.
West, west, west points left.
2.Revision -- read some words January- December
Step2:New lesson:
1.T: Boys and girls, what do you like doing in the holiday?
I like traveling. Do you like traveling? Ss: Yes.
T:Today we will talk about “Travel”.
2.T:Look! There are some photos about Changsha.(show the photos of Changsha) teach photo

2.T: Where did you go last year?（板书）
Ss:I went to……
T: Did you go with your father (mother/sister/friends……)?（板书）
Ss:Yes,I did./No,I didn’t.
T:Where is it?( east/west/north/ south)
Ss:It’s in the east (west/ north/south) of China.（板书）
4. 出示新疆图片：
T: Look at these pictures.What’s the city,please?
Ss:Xinjiang.
T: Yes.This is Xinjiang.
Where is Xinjiang? Ss:West.
T: It’s in the west of China.
I stayed with my grandmother for a week.（学习单词）
4.出示海南风景图：
T: What’s the city,please?
Ss:Hainan.
T:This is Hainan.Where is it?
Ss:It’ in the south of China.
T:Wonderful! Can you read?（
Lingling went to Hainan and visited her uncle.
Step3:Practice
1. 出示青岛风景，并引导学生说句子：
Last year,I went to Qingdao andswam.
It’s in the east of China.
2. 出示其他图片，学生同桌讨论，完成句子。
Shanghai: Last year,I went to ______.It’s in the _____of China.
Beijing: It’s in the ___of China. I went to ____ and played ______.
Step4:Listen:
T: Lingling went to Xinjiang last year. Let’s learn more about Lingling’s travel.
1. Listen and then answer:
a. Who has got some photos?
b. Where is Xinjiang?
c. When did Lingling go there?
d. Who did she go with?
e. Where does Lingling’s uncle live?
Step5:Activity Write about your trip:

Teaching objectives

Teaching procedures:
A: Songs: mangoes and rice
B: Free talk: Where did you go?
Step1. New words
Show the cards of the new word. Have the student read and remember them
Then explain the word: parent means mother or father; Holiday means the day that you do not work or study, you are free.
Step 2. Test
Play the tape, have the students open their books listen and read then answer the questions
1. Where did Lingling go?
2. When did she go?
3. Who did she go with?
4. Where is Xinjiang?
5. What did she ride?
6. What mountain did she climb?
7. What lake did she visit?
8. Did she have a good time?
At last give answer to the students
Step3. On the blackboard, mark north at the top, south at the bottom, west on the left, east on the right. Read and point
Show a map of China on the blackboard and ask: Where is Haikou? /Yinchuan/Shanghai/ Hong Kong
Practice: Have the students talk about their holiday. If they did not go anywhere, imagine.
Step4. Listen and repeat again, then do Activity book Exercise 4
Step5. Sing a song
Play the tape and the student learn to sing
Game: Draw a picture (in the south draw some mountains, in the north draw a river, in the east draw a road, in the west draw a kite )
Homework: Write and draw
1. Where is your favourite place?
2. When did you go there?
3. What did you do there?
4. Who did you go with
