PEP五年级上第二单元教学设计

一.单元内容分析。

五年级上学期是小学高年级的起始阶段,新课标对学生能力的要求由一级升为了二级,强调能够运用所学的言语进行交流。

本单元是人教版五年级上册第二单元,重点学习有关星期课程安排和周末活动的表达方法。与四年级下册的“What time is it?”在内容上有一些想通。

二.学情分析。

黎族地区的孩子在学习语言方面是很有天赋的,只是他们的基础太差,对学习没有什么兴趣。所以教师必须从兴趣方面入手。

三.单元目标。

1.能听、说、读、写本单元的四会单词和四会句子。
2.能理解对话和阅读部分的内容。
3.能简单的介绍学校的课程安排,以及描述一周内的学习和生活情况,如:We have English, science, art and math on Tuesday. I often play computer on Sunday.
4.了解Pronunciation中字母组合在单词中的发音规则。
5.欣赏、学唱歌曲“My days of the week”
6.了解Task time, Story time, Good to know等部分的内容。
7.让学生在本单元的学习中体会到合理安排时间的重要性,做到有张有弛、劳逸结合。
四.课时安排。(6课时)

第一课时:Let’s start Let’s sing Let’s learn

第二课时:Let’s chant Let’s try Let’s talk Group work

第三课时:Read and write Pronunciation

第四课时:Let’s learn Let’s chant Story time

第五课时:Let’s try Let’s talk Pair work Good to know

第一课时
一.教学目标与要求

1.能够听、说、读、写单词:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,并能根据实际情况替换句型熟练运用。

2.能听懂问句:What day is it today? What do we have on Mondays? 并能做出正确回答。

3.欣赏歌曲“My days of the week”。

二.教学重点与难点

重点:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday五个单词的听说读写,以及能听懂、会说句子:What day is it today? What do we have on Mondays?

难点:Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday三个单词的发音和拼写。

三.教具准备

手表、课程表、录音机、磁带、PPT

四.教学步骤

1.Warm-up.

(1)Listen to a song “My days of the week”.(预备铃响的时候开始听,听完正好打上课铃)

(2)复习有关科目的单词以及句型What time is it now? It’s -- o’clock.

T: (师抬起手腕看看手表)What’s the time now? Let me see, it’s -- o’clock. It’s time to begin our English class.

T:(PPT里出现一个新书包)Look! I have a new schoolbag. Guess, how many books do I have? (一本一本的出示课本,一边复习科目的单词) 补充学习两个新的科目Moral Education and Social Studies.

2. Presentation.

(1 ) 观察Let’s learn 部分的功课表,看懂功课表。

(2)游戏:跟着老师仿说句子。(说对一个小组加一分)

例:T: Monday, Monday, Chinese on Monday.

S: Monday, Monday, English on Monday.

T: Tuesday, Tuesday, math on Tuesday.

S: Tuesday, Tuesday, English on Tuesday.

T: We have English on Wednesday.

(3)游戏: 看谁反应快------What day is it today? It’s ------.

T: We have Computer and art. What day is it today?(说对一个小组加一分)

(4 ) 让学生观察五个单词的共同点(后面都有一个“day”)

教师指导拼读及书写。注意Tuesday里的e字母和Wednesday里的d 和e不发音。

(5)听录音,跟读单词及句子,模仿语音语调。

3. Practice.

根据班里的课表完成下面的练习。

We have art on __________.

We have computer on _________

We have music on _________

We have P.E on ____________

We have Moral Education on ____________

We have science on __________

第二课时
一.教学目标

1.能听懂、会说:What day is it today? It's .... What do you have on ... ? We have .... I like ....

2.模仿发音并掌握正确的语音语调。

3.能够简单运用句型描述课程的安排。

二.教学重难点

重点:能够理解并运用对话。

难点:1.根据实际情况运用句型:What day is it today? It’s-----. What do we have on Mondays? We have ------. I like-------.

2.拓展对话内容并进行表演。

三.教学步骤

1. Warm up.

(1 ) 复习上节课所学的五个单词。

老师走到一些同学的旁边悄悄的给他们新的称谓,让他们记住自己的新名字。然后老师说“Monday, Monday, where is Monday, raise your hand ”。Monday举起手后,同学们和老师一起说“Monday, Monday, I like you!”

(2 ) 播放Let’s Start部分的歌谣Let’s chant录音,学生复习巩固有关星期的新单词和课程名称。

2. Let’s try.

教师播放Let's try的录音,让学生仔细听,尽量按选出正确的图,并说出先后顺序。听了一遍后,老师可给出重点句型。让学生再听录音,完成听音选图练习后,教师指导学生给出正确答案。如果学生听了两遍后,还不能理解内容,可出示听力原文的同时播声音,让学生听懂后,在不看文字的状态下再听一遍。反复播放录音能强化对新句型的听觉感知。

3. Presentation.

(1) Listen to the dialogue between Amy and her mom.

(2) Game: Yes or NO

a. Today is Tuesday.

b. Amy has P.E. on Wednesday.

c. Amy like Wednesday.

(2) Imitate the pronunciation.

We have English, science, computer and P.E.

4. Group work.

分小组讨论各自喜欢什么课程和哪一天的课程,总结出各小组最喜欢的课程和最喜欢星期几的课程,在班级内做汇报。鼓励学生表述尽可能多的理由。(抽几个学生起来和老师一组)

第三课时
一.教学目标

1.理解read and write 部分的内容。

2.掌握四会句型:What day is it today?

It’s Wednesday.

What do you have on Thursdays?

We have English, math and science on Thursdays.

3.模仿并掌握正确的语音语调。

二.教学重难点

重点:理解并运用read and write 部分的内容。

难点:Pronunciation部分,要求教师正确示范读音,引导学生最终能正确读出相关单词,并发现其发音规律。字母组合ow, ou 的发音一定要到位,cl, cr 的滑音变化要特别强调。绕口令的朗读可以采用跟读、试读的形式,但不要求学生人人会读。

三.教学步骤

1. Warm up

(1) Game: Up and Down.

(2) Free talk.

T: I like music. Do we have music today?

S: Yes

T: Oh, Good, What day is it today?

S: It’s Monday.

T: I like Monday!!!

2. Presentation.

(1) Listen to the dialogue and answer the questions:

a. What day is it today?

b. What day is it tomorrow?

(2) Listen to the dialogue again and play the game: yes or no

a. Mike has Chinese on Wednesdays.

b. Mike has English on Wednesdays.

c. Mike has art on Thursdays.

d. Mike has math on Thursdays.

e. Mike has P.E. on Fridays.

(3) Fill in the blanks.

(4) Listen to the tape and imitate the pronunciation.

(5) Read the dialogue by pairs.

3. Pronunciation.

本课时学习的是字母组合ow, ou的发音,教师出示一些含有字母组合ou及不含 ou的单词卡片,要求学生按读音将其分类,引导学生把含有字母组合ou并发音为/Au/的单词归为一类,同样教授字母组合ow。教授辅音字母组合时要特别强调cl, cr的发音区别,培养学生的观察和模仿能力。鼓励学生找更多这样发音的单词进行练习。

第四课时
一.教学目标

1.能够听、说、读、写Saturday, Sunday两个单词和do homework, watch TV, read books三个短语,并能结合所给句型在实际情景中运用。

2.能理解 What do you do on Saturdays? I often-----

3.会跟唱Let’s chant.

二.教学重难点

1.重点:四会单词和短语:Saturday,Sunday, do homework,watch TV,read books。要求学生能结合所给句型和词语,在实际情景中熟练运用新单词和词组。

2.难点:结合实际,描述其他活动。

三.教学步骤

1. Warm up.

(1) Let’s sing.

(2) Free talk.

T: What do you have on Mondays?

S1: We have-------

T: What do you have on Tuesdays?

S2: We have-------

T: What do you have on Saturdays?

2. Presentation

(1) 由free talk 引出Saturday and Sunday.

T: On Saturdays and Sundays, We have no class, we can play football, play basketball, play ping-pong, play computer, and so on. (教师边说边在PPT里展示图片,帮助学生理解)

(2)在展示图片的过程中带入do homework, watch TV, read books.

(3 ) Game: 看滚动图片,做动作。老师和其他同学一起说短语。

(4) Guess: What do you do on Saturdays?

PPT里出现一些被遮住一半的图片,让学生根据图片来猜测。

第五课时
一.教学目标

1.能听懂、会说What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays? I often ------

2.模仿发音并掌握正确的语音语调。

3.能够简单运用句型描述周末的安排。

二.教学重难点

重点:能够理解并运用对话。

难点:1.根据实际情况运用句型:What do you do on Saturdays/Sundays? I often ------

2.拓展对话内容并进行表演。

三.教学步骤

1. Warm up

(1) Let’s sing.

(2) Game: up and down

2. Let’s try.

教师播放Let's try的录音,让学生仔细听,尽量选出正确的图。听了一遍后,老师可给出重点句型。让学生再听录音,完成听音选图练习后,教师指导学生给出正确答案。如果学生听了两遍后,还不能理解内容,可出示听力原文的同时播声音,让学生听懂后,在不看文字的状态下再听一遍。反复播放录音能强化对新句型的听觉感知。

a. Chen Jie play ping-pong on Saturdays.

(2) Read after the radio and imitate the pronunciation.

I often do home work, read books and watch TV.

让学生结合自己的实际情况在同桌之间结对交流。然后完成Pair work部分的问卷调查,交流各自的周末活动

5. Good to know.

重点介绍母亲节和父亲节。两个节日都是在星期天,母亲节是五月的第二个星期天,父亲节是六月的第三个星期天。

第六课时

一.教学目标

1.理解read and write 部分的内容。

2.掌握四会句型:What do you do on Saturdays?

I watch TV on Saturdays.

What about you?

I do my homework, too.

3.模仿并掌握正确的语音语调。

4.学会合理安排周末。

二.教学重难点

重点:理解课文内容,掌握四会句子。

难点:将动作和星期几在一个句子中表达,如I watch TV on Saturdays. 并能进行词组和单词的灵活应用。以及句中的大小写书写规范。

三.教学步骤

1. Warm up

(1) Free talk

T: I like playing computer on weekends.

(2) Game: I say you do /I do you say

2. Presentation

(1) Read the dialogue and answer the questions:

a. What day is it today?

b. What does Aunt Cathy do on Saturdays?

b. Zoom play ping-pong on Saturdays.

c. Zoom do homework on Saturdays.

d. Zoom play computer on Saturdays.

e. Zoom play football on Saturdays.

(3) Fill in the blanks.

(4) Listen to the tape and imitate the pronunciation.

(5) Read the dialogue by pairs.
