Unit 1 What time does school start?

一、教学目标:
1、能听、说、读并掌握句型:What time do you get up? I get up at half past seven. What time does school start? My school starts at eight o’clock.
2、能熟练运用所学句型What time do you ?/ What time does ?来询问关于日常生活的话题,并能进行正确回答。
二、 教学重点:
1、能熟练运用所学句型What time do you ?/ What time does ?来询问关于日常生活的话题,并能进行正确回答。
三、教学难点:
1、正确运用动词的第三人称单数形式。
2、运用所学句型描述自己的学校生活。
四、教具:
CAI课件、单词卡片、录音机
五、教学过程:
Step 1: Warming-up
1. Greetings.
2. Review the new words of Module 8.
3. 复习动词词组: (课件显示)
T: Look at the screen. Who can read it?
师点名读,其它学生跟读.
get up listen to music play basketball
go to school go to bed watch TV
play football do homework do exercises
Now say and do.
4. 复习时间(整点和半点)的表达:
T: Do you like watching TV? Ss: Yes, I do.
T: I like watching TV. And I like this too. (屏幕出示时钟)
Look! What’s this? Oh, it’s a clock.
What time is it? Ss: Three o’clock.
师继续出示钟面,问:What time is it now? Ss: Six o’clock.
师不断出示钟面提问学生。
Step 2: Presentation
1. 师问一名学生:I get up at half past six. What time do you get up?
Ss: I get up at . 师继续问一名学生同样问题.
师再问一名学生: What time do you go to school?
Ss: I go to school at .
师重复What time do you ?,板书.
师将两个动词词组(get up、go to school)放到句型中带读,全班齐读,大小声操练。
Now make sentences. 师作动作(go to bed、listen to music、watch TV、 play basketball、play football),引导学生用What time do you ?造句。
2.师出示时钟7:00,问:Look here! What time is it? Ss: Seven o’clock.
T: What time do you get up?
引导生回答(全班齐读): I get up at seven o’clock.
师重复一遍I get up at seven o’clock.,板书:I at .教读.
师出示时钟7:30,问:What time do you go to school? Ss: I go to school at half past seven.
师出示时钟9:30,问:What time do you do exercises? Ss: I do exercises at half past nine.
师出示时钟10:00,问:What time do you go to bed? Ss: I go to bed at ten o’clock.
3. 请学生示范问答。
Now talk about you.(谈谈你自己的情况)
T: Who can ask? What time do you ?
T: Who can answer? 师点名回答。
4.两人练习对话:(课件显示)2 minute
T: Now Practise in pairs.
A: What time do you ?
B: I at .
T: Who want to try? 点名六组展示。
5.师问全班:What time do you go to school? Ss: I go to school at .
T:What time does school start?(重复一遍)What time does school start? 板书:What time does school ?
师讲解:school第三人称单数,要用does。
For example: What time does he…? (板)
What time does she…? (板)
What time does Amy…? (板)
全班齐读,大小声操练,one by one操练句子What time does school start?
师问一名学生:What time does school start? Can you answer?
引导生回答:My school starts at eight o’clock.
师重复:My school starts at eight o’clock.
板书My school starts at .
师讲解:school第三人称单数,动词start要加S。
教读句子My school starts at eight o’clock.,全班齐读,小组齐读,two by two操练.
师再问全班:What time does school start? Ss: My school starts at eight o’clock.
6. Look at the screen, please make sentences:(课件显示)
(Picture 1) T: What time does she get up? Ss: She gets up at seven o’clock.
(Picture 2) T: What time does the cat listen to music? Ss: The cat listens to music at nine o’clock.
(Picture 3) T: What time does QQ play basketball? Ss: QQ plays basketball at half past seven.
(Picture 4—6) 学生自己造句。(T: Who can ask? Who can answer.? )
(Picture 7—9) 小老师点名问答。(T: Who want to be the little teacher? You ask, and you can point anyone to answer. )
Step 3: New text
1. T: What time does your school start?.
Ss: My school starts at eight o’clock.
T: What time does Amy’s school start? Let’s open your books and turn to page 30. Listen carefully. 师放录音.
2. Now answer my question: What time does Amy’s school start? Who can?
Ss: Amy’s school starts at nine o’clock.
3. Listen and repeat.
4. 判断句子的正(T)误(F),理解课文内容: (课件)
(1). School starts at half past seven in England. ( F )
(2). Amy and Sam go to school by bus. ( F )
(3). Their house is near the school. ( T )
(4). They don’t do exercises every morning. ( T )
(5). They play in the playground before nine o’clock. ( T )
