1. Learn numerals 11~20: eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty.
2. Learn how to inquire about one’s age, class and grade:
(1)—How old are you?
—I am twelve ( years old).
(2)—What class are you in?
—I’m in Class Four, Grade Seven.
(3)—What grade are you in?
—I’m in Grade Seven.
(4)—How old is he/she?
—He/she is twelve years old.
(5)—What class is he/she in?
—He/she is in Class Four, Grade Seven.
(6)—What grade is he/she in?
—He/she is in Grade Seven.

Step 1 Review (5’)
利用默写,师生对话,复习上节课学过的数字0~10及重点句型,并导入新课。
1. ( 让学生默写0~10,并请11名同学上台写,复习数词0~10。)
T: First, let’s count from zero to ten together.
Ss: Zero, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
T: Now I will invite 11 students to write them on the blackboard. The rest of you, please write them on your notebook without looking at the textbook and others.
(过程:让11名同学分别在黑板上写一个数字,写完后回到座位上默写11个数字。接下来教师评点黑板上的默写,同桌交换默写并用红笔改正。)此部分板书如下:

2. (请一名学生到讲台前配合示范,复习上节课的重点内容,并导入新课。)
T: What’s your name?
S1: My name is S1.
T: Where are you from?
S1: I’m from Hainan.
T: What’s your telephone number?
S1: My telephone number is (0898)66258348.
T: 学习了个位数,今天我们接着学习两位数。我们已经会问别人的名字、来自哪儿、电话号码,今天我们还将学习如何问别人的年龄age, 班级class和年级grade.
Step 2 Presentation (15’)
1. 在学生默写的four, six, seven, nine下面写上fourteen, sixteen, seventeen, nineteen(teen用红粉笔书写)。让学生猜这四个新单词的意思。
2. 在学生默写的one, two, three, five, eight, ten下面分别写上eleven, twelve, thirteen, fifteen, eighteen, twenty. 让学生观察并总结11~20的书写规律。(学生们各抒己见,教师最后总结。) 此部分板书如下:

3. (播放1录音,让学生跟读并注意单词的发音及重音。)
T: Listen to the tape and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation and stress.
4. 教学生读年份,两个数字为一个单位来读,并让学生练习:in 1920, in 1113, in 1817, in 1506…此部分板书如下:

5. (使用卡片,做数字加减游戏,练习数词0~20。)
T: Now let’s play a number game.
(T 拿出写有两张数字卡片,分别将它们贴在“+”号或“-”号前后,看哪个学生迅速举起手,用完整的句子说出答案。若正确,给改组加分。)
Example:
T 拿出 ten 和 one, 分别将它们贴在“+”号前后。
S2: Ten and/plus one is eleven.
若教师将其贴在“-”号前后,学生的回答应该是:
S3: Ten minus one is nine.
如此往复练习,共进行四次,并让学生课后练习。此部分板书如下:

6. (引出新句型, 及新单词,学习询问年龄、所在班级年级。)
T: I have a friend. Her name is Sally. When we want to know her age, what should we ask? “How old are you?” If she is twelve, she should answer:” I am twelve (years old).” 然后让学生两两操练此对话,并让一组学生表演。
T: When we want to know her class, we should ask:” What class are you in?” “ I am in Class Four, Grade Seven.” 同时教师讲解class与grade后加数词,首字母改为大写的用法。然后让学生两两操练此对话,并让一组学生表演。
T: When we just want to know her grade, we should ask: “What grade are you in?” “ I am in Grade Seven.” 此部分板书如下:

7. 首先播放2a录音,让学生跟读并注意语音语调。然后让男女生分别扮演Li Ming和Sally进行对话,再找一名男生和一名女生上台表演。
Step 3 Consolidation (3’)
利用个人信息资料练习对话,巩固目标语言,培养学生语言表达能力。
- 让学生根据2a内容来完成2b。
- 教师与学生对话。Example:
T: How old is Li Ming/Sally?
Ss: He/She is twelve (years old).
T: What class is he/she in?
Ss: He/She is in Class…, Grade Seven.
Step 4 Practice (10’)
1. (听录音,连线。目的是巩固前面所学知识并锻炼学生听力能力。)
T: We have four friends here. They are Nancy, Mark, Dick and Julia. How old are they? What class are they in? Now listen to the tape and match. (听两遍录音,让学生用完整句子来说出答案。Example: Nancy is fourteen (years old). She is in Class 11, Grade 8.)
2.首先听4a录音,回答三个问题。Example:
T: Now we will listen to the tape. When listening, think about these three questions: (1) What grade is Jane in? (2) How old is Nancy? (3) What class is Nancy in? (Repeat the question.) Now, listen carefully. (听两遍录音。Then check the answer.)
S4: Jane is in Grade Seven.
S5: She is fourteen (years old).
S6: She is in Class Eleven, Grade Eight.
然后讲解Who’s that?中的新词that.
接着让学生跟读录音,模仿录音中的语音音调,然后让学生两两进行对话操练。完成4b. 此部分板书如下:

Step 5 Project (7’)
通过做游戏,调查填表格和写作文等形式,培养学生听、说和写的技能。
1. (Play a Bingo game. Finish 5.)
(1)T: Now let’s play a bingo game. Please choose nine numbers from 1 to 20 and put them into a table like this:

(给学生半分钟让学生填写)
(2) (继续告诉学生游戏规则。)
T: Listen to me and cross out (×) the numbers you hear. When you have crossed out 3 numbers in a line, please say “Bingo”, then you win. (听教师读数字,当学生听到教师读到的数字在自己表格中出现的时候,就在数字上打“×”,表格上没有的不打“×”。当他们打叉的数字横、竖或斜成一条直线时,就大声说“Bingo”,意思是赢了。)
2. (让学生互相调查,然后完成这个表格。)
T: Boys and girls, let’s make a survey. Ask your friends these questions. Then fill in the form.

3. Homework
(1)背诵2a与4a并默写。
(2)抄写本课新词eleven~that on Page 124.
(3)写一篇文章介绍自己(包括姓名,英文名字,电话号码,年龄,班级等等)。
