1. How much is this T-shirt? 这伯 T恤多少钱？
询问价格 how much, 回答 It's/ They're + 价钱。
how much 也可问数量，后接不可数名词；
how many 也是问数量，后接复数的名词。
① —How much is the pen?
—It's 5 yuan.
② —How much are these books?
—They're 15 dollars.

2. Can I help you? 疑问句，意指“我能帮你吗？”
服务人员礼貌语，愿意主动来帮助。
类似表达 May I help you? 还有 What can I do for you?
回答 Yes, please. I want sth./ to buy sth.
—Can I help you?
—Yes, please. I want a pen.

3. We have sweaters at a very good price, —only ￥ 25!
我们有价格便宜的毛衣，售价只有25元。
at a very good price, 以一个很合适的价格出售。
at the price of + n., 意为“以……价格出售”。
This store has great bags at the price of $ 10 each.
这家商店有大提包，售价每个十美元。

4. I'll take it. 我买了。购物时的常用语；
选定商品决定买，动词 take 相当于 buy。

5. When is your birthday, Jeff? 杰夫，你的生日是什么时候？
疑问词 when 表“什么时候”，只对时间进行提问。
① When is your father's birthday?
② When do you go to bed?

6. My birthday is June fourth. 我的生日是6月4号。
英语日期“月日，年”，日，年之间用逗号。
“日”用序数词表示，“月份”首字母大写；
月份缩写后加点，常用前面仨字母。
① April 2nd, 2007 2007年4月2日
② July 1st 七月1日
③ September(Sep.) 十月
④ in 1995, in May; on August 25, 2003

7. 序数词用来表示顺序，常与定冠词 the 连用。
基数词变序数词的方法口诀另外发表。

8. I'm fifteen years old. 意为“我十五岁了。”
主语 + be + 序数词，year(s) old 可加后。
My grandfather is eighty years old. = My grandfather is eighty. 我爷爷八十岁了。

9. Do you want to go to a movie? 你想去看电影吗？
want to do … 想要干某事，to do 是动词不定式。
① We want to play football. 我们想要踢足球。
② I want to go home. 我想要回家。
go to a movie = go to the cinema 去看电影

10. someone 是个不定代词，用作主语三单形式。
类似还有 somebody, something, anybody, nobody。
① Someone wants to see you. 有人想见你。
② There is someone in the classroom. 教室里有人。
