Title: A More Enjoyable School Life

Teaching aims:

1. Enable the students to use ‘We’d like to …’to make suggestions.

2. Enbale the students to exchange their opinions.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Warming up Talk about some pictures of students’ school life.

Step 2 Listening. Answer the question: What does Miss Guo want to students to do?

Step 3 Reading the dialogue aloud by following the teacher, in roles and chorus.

Step 4 Ask the students to read a letter . Encourage them to use more sentence patterns to make suggestions.

Step 5 An activity. Let the students discuss their dream school life and write a letter to the headmaster to make suggestions. Invite some to report and choose the best one.

Step 6 Assignment.

Read the dialogue aloud at least 5 times.
