Step1 Greet the class and meet them.
Step2 Revision
1. Revise the words about jobs by showing some pictures.
2. Ask students to say something about these jobs by asking “Which job do you like best?”
Step3 New words teaching
1. Leading –in.
2. Teach new words and expressions by showing the pictures.
Step4 Rank the phrases and presentation.( Activity 1a )
1. Ask the students to rank these pictures from 1~6. ( 1 is most interesting, 6 is least interesting. ).
2. Check the answers.
3. Of these jobs, which job do you think is the most interesting. And present What are you going to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that?
Step5 Listening(Activity 1b)
1. Listen and match the items in 1b, ask the students to draw a line between the job in the first column and the activity in the second column.
Step6 Practice(Activity 1c)
1. Ask the students to practice making conversations about their future plans in pairs.
2. Ask some pairs to act them out.
Step7 Listening(Activity 2a)
1. Point to the picture .Ask the students to look at the pictures carefully. Then students listen and check the correct box in the picture.
2. Check the answers.
Step8 Listen and fill in the chart(Activity 2b).
1. Play the recording twice. Ask Students to write their answers in the chart.
2. Correct the answers .
Step9 Ask and answer questions about Cheng Han’s plans.(Activity 2c)
1. Ask two students to read the sample conversation to the class.
2. Point to the questions and answers in activity 2b .Ask students to make conversation about Cheng Han.
3. Ask several pairs to say their conversations to the class .
